BED & BREAKFAST & HOSTELS IN BUENOS AIRES.          

In Buenos Aires city you have lots of Hostels and Bed and Breakfast to choose for Lodging. There are actually two of them that are gay owned, and that are intended only for gay visitors (Bayres Bed and Breakfast and Lugar Gay).

Anyhow, most of the Hostels or Bed & Breakfasts will be at least gay friendly. This is a good option for young people and backpackers who will find in these Hostels travel mates to have fun in Buenos Aires, or continue the journey to other cities and countries, or travel around Argentina.

If you are a couple you will find more privacy staying in a Hotel, or renting an apartment for a short term.

International Hostelling is usually a friendly chain, and they have one Hostel, the Tango backpackers, that has an incredible location for young gay people, because it is very close to Santa Fe Ave. (the subway and all the buses), but also a few blocks from lots of friendly bars,restaurants, and shops in the groovy Palermo SoHo area.

The neighborhoods we recommend you to stay in Buenos Aires are Recoleta, and Palermo near the SoHo area. San Telmo, Belgrano or Palermo Hollywood are a bit far from some of the things you will want to visit.

San Telmo for example is on the south extreme of the interesting areas for travelers. Belgrano is the same but opposite, is a residential neighborhood to the north of Palermo. If the hostel is near a Subway Station this should not present a problem.
